The Effect of Creative Writing Practices Integrated with Story-Based Learning Approach on Secondary School Students' Writing Attitudes and Development of Creative Writing Skills

The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect creative writing practices integrated with story-based learning approach on attitudes and skills 6th grade middle school students. was conducted a convergent parallel design approach, one mixed method research designs. utilized pre-test-post-test paired control group model, quasi-Experiment models, in quantitative dimension study, case qualitative methods, dimension. consisted students attending two different public schools Aksaray province fall semester 2021-2022 academic year. 54 students, 27 Experiment group. During education process, were carried out group, while taught activities existing textbook. application lasted 8 weeks. achievement based pre-test post-test results both groups evaluated "Creative Writing Assessment Scale" their towards "Writing Attitude Scale". In addition descriptive statistics, data obtained analyzed using (Independent) Samples t-test, Mann Whitney U, Wilcoxon's Test Ranked Associations, Analysis Covariance (ANCOVA); through semi-structured interview forms content analysis technique. As result research, it concluded that improved students' skills.
